Inspirational leadership. Coming across an example of inspiring leadership is definitely not a given. Being around somebody that is not only pushing you to do better professionally but also inspires you to do so is sometimes a privilege. It takes a fair share of emotional intelligence to be an inspiring leader, and competencies like self-awareness, self-management, other awareness and relationship management, that can have a powerful impact on those around. Can you think of a leader/manager or a person who’s made an impact on your life and inspired you to be and do better? And if you cannot, this is your reminder that every single day you have the chance of being that inspiration for others.
