I am definitely not a Chanel-obsessed kind of person – even though I do have their classic flap top of my wishlist. However, with the Channel Factory 5 collection out I was intrigued to get my hands on some of the items. The several pop-ups around Berlin that I kept walking by, definitely also helped. So with that, I thought why not share what I got from the Chanel Factory 5 collection.
To celebrate the 100th anniversary of Chanel No5, the house launched Chanel Factory 5. It’s a limited-edition collection of 17 bath and body care products based around the legendary No. 5 fragrance. All the products are housed in beautifully minimalist packaging inspired by Pop Art and the work of Andy Warhol, with creams packaged in paint tubes or bath tablets in tea tins.
What I got from the Chanel Factory 5 Collection
The Mystery Box
The Mistery Box includes several hand care items:
- No5 Hand Cream (50 ml)
- A black and white pouch
- Nail file in a black sleeve
- A small towel that unfolds on contact with water to reveal the N°5 logo
I first only bought only the Mystery Box and it also came with two samples. A miniature No5 perfume bottle, and a No5 Eau de Toilette sample, pictured below.
The Bath Tablets
The Bath Tablets were my next pick thanks to the beautiful packaging. Packaged in a collectible tea tin, there are individually wrapped and delicately scent your bath water as they dissolve. I love the collectible tea tin so I’m definitely holding on to it.
No5 Eau de Toilette
Last, I also got the No5 Eau de Toilette, which is a more modern/lightweight interpretation of the classic scent that I quite like. I actually picked it up as a gift for my mom, so I am hoping to see her soon and give it to her.
I also got a couple of miniature No5 perfumes as samples, and they are the cutest thing. A set of black and white candles will also do perfectly on a special occasion cake. My favourite item though is the mesh / net bag. This one is only gifted when buying two products together. I can’t wait to use it for a quick grocery run and as a beach bag too, I think it makes for the perfect casual bag and I’m obsessed.
Anyways, there are quite a few more products in the collection but I thought I’d share what my picks were and what I got from the Chanel Factory 5 collection. I believe the pop-up spaces are only available until the end of July, so if you have your eye set on something, make sure to run and catch it!
