This outfit is so cozy and perfect for fall. I am This outfit is so cozy and perfect for fall. I am in love with this grey mohair sweater, it adds such a chic and casual vibe. I wore this on a chilly evening while in NYC in summer but this is also what I wore to the office this week for a full day product strategy workshop (except I wore the white version of the t-shirt instead). P.S. I’d love to teleport to NYC this fall season 🍂 Anyone else? And since we’re on the topic of travelling, I need to share my sorrows. We decided not to travel anymore for the rest of the year to keep our budget under control after all our travelling this year (except maybe for a small trip to visit family ot a getaway with the Mr) but it‘s so hard. I already had to say no to accompanying the Mr on three of his business trips this fall (something I usually love to do because it’s way cheaper like that) because we are both trying to stay strong budget wise, but man it‘s soooo haaard. For those who stay strong, how do you do it? Office day with me 👩🏼‍💻 My current of Office day with me 👩🏼‍💻 My current office routine starts with a coffee run with the Mr on our way to work, and ends with a workout at the office gym. I live that the gym is often empty so it’s a perfect relaxation moment. Of course it helps that the Mr drops me off in the morning and picks me up at the end of the day because I don’t need to carry heavy bags back and forth. Having a „me time“ weekend means going to coff Having a „me time“ weekend means going to coffee shops to read and of course I‘m taking along my newest bag: the Nantucket model from @dragon.diffusion, which I‘m obsessed with and it‘s the perfect casual summer tote (but made out of beautifully woven leather not straw).☀️ I am still reading „Hello Beautiful“ by Ann Napolitano and I am halfway through it and loving it so far because it‘s such a well written book with a thoughtful storyline and characters although not necessarily easy or too light hearted. I am hoping I will still like it by the time I‘m finished with it so we‘ll see. 🤞 Also, I am that person that carries a little sweet in her bag for her coffee break. My sister brought me chocolate coated dates with walnuts from her recent trip to Dubai and I think I can declare it as the perfect sweet to go with a cup of coffee. So delicious! 🤤 Now I need to find out where to buy them in Berlin because my stash is already gone. I am so grateful for making it home this summer, s I am so grateful for making it home this summer, seeing family and also squeezing in a few days at the beach. ☀️🫶🌊 The few afternoons I spent basking in the sun, with my feet in the sand and the salty breeze on my skin have felt like a blessing. Honestly, the sun & the sea just hit different this year. I can’t complain about travelling this year given I managed to tick off two bucket list destinations (NYC and Japan) but nothing feels quite like the sea breeze on your skin. While I only took a couple of days off, I am feeling a little more grounded, especially given the emotional ups and downs I’ve had this year. It’s given me more energy and more mental clarity. And I am feeling more at peace with life, my choices, my direction and everything else in between. Coincidentally, I’ve also recently seen there is some recent research around the benefits if practicing grounding - such as having your feet in the sand or lying on your back, but I don’t think I need research to tell me that. Don’t outsource your brain power, develop it so you can stand on your own two feet. Because honestly, if you can’t put your thoughts down on paper in a coherent way, you will never be a an effective communicator. 2. Set boundaries from early on and prioritise your wellbeing. Start working on your 80 year old body early on so you can maintain a good muscle mass over years as well as high energy levels. Physical health fuels mental health. 3. Build relationships with those around you because it’s the people that make any job better. Don’t just network and play the game, but make genuine connections so you can bring your best self at work.
